Bull Shoals Tailwater - Forrest and Nina Wood Access

This access is on the Marion County (west) side at the dam. Watch for the Riverview Golf Course turn off (off of Hwy 178 in Bull Shoals). The access road splits the golf course. Easier boat launch than the Jim Griffen access. Good wade access at low water. Boating access in the area is limited at low flows.

An oddity in regulations (long story) allows for one lure with one barbless treble hook in this .8 mile catch and release area. Artificials and a single barbless hook per rod otherwise. Area closed to fishing November 1 - January 31.

The Forrest and Nina Wood access is through the Riverview Golf Course. Be aware golf balls frequently land in the parking lot!

Looking upstream from the access, one can see the lights on at the powerhouse at first light.
