Anglers coming to the White River tailwaters for the first time can have a hard time understanding the daily and extreme fluctuations in river stages that can occur due to hydropower generation. Here's a time-lapsed narrated video showing the beginning of rising water at Rim Shoals on Bull Shoals tailwater. It at least gives an inkling of what one may expect. Video lasts about 6-minutes.
