AGFC Revisits Bull Shoals and Norfork Tailwaters Trout Management Plan

Updated 10/20/17 – Here is the link for the online survey. Take the 2018 Fall Fishing Regulations Proposals Public Comment Survey

Meetings were held in Mountain Home August 3rd and 24th. Documents from both workshops, which spells out the current regs and AGFC biologists recommendations, are available at: https://www.agfc.com/en/fishing/sportfish/trout/ .

Of note is the recommendation to remove another catch and release zone (Monkey Island) and a possible increasing of the size of the catch and release area at Rim Shoals on Bull Shoals tailwater.

If you were unable to attend the meeting, you still have the opportunity to provide  input on these 12 proposals.  Send comments related to these proposals to AGFC.  Please be specific and state why you would support or oppose a specific proposal.  The proposed regulations will go through a formal 30 day, public comment period.  The comment period will start in early October and will be in the form of a online survey through the AGFC website (no link provided yet).
